Bathroom remodelling is a procedure in which a homeowner remodels their bathroom to make it look and function better. Faith Bathrooms can help you with every step of the process, from drawing up plans for your renovation to ensuring that everything is completed on time and within budget.

The benefits of bathroom remodelling
There are several benefits associated with having Faith Bathrooms complete your home’s renovations:
Boosting resale value (up to 30%)
Getting rid of an old or outdated style -Making everyday life easier through updated features such as comfortability and safety
Improved look
With a bathroom remodel, you can create a space that is uniquely you with Faith Bathrooms’ help.
When is bathroom remodelling not advised?
Faith Bathrooms does not recommend bathroom renovations if you do not plan on staying in your home for at least another five to ten years. The work involved in removing or changing tiles could cause damage to your walls which would be costly to fix later down the line.
There will come a point when no matter how much money has been spent, there won’t be any more improvements made to the space. When this happens, Faith Bathrooms recommends considering a new look for your bathroom.
What is involved in bathroom remodelling?
There are several steps required before Omega Bathroom Fitting can begin making changes to your bathroom. Our team will mark out floor areas, lower floors if required to accommodate larger items such as bathtubs and move doorways or walls that may be in the way of desired changes. We then set up scaffolding and lay a protective covering over any existing floor coverings before drilling into tiles where necessary (please note we do not drill through ceramic wall tiles).
Creating a foundation
This includes measuring and marking out floor areas, lowering floors if required to accommodate larger items such as bathtubs, moving doorways or walls that may be in the way of desired changes, etc. We do this to ensure the safety of everyone involved and to protect the existing floor covering.
Laying the groundwork
Faith Bathrooms will then set up scaffolding, lay a protective cover over any existing floor coverings (except on wooden boards which we do not drill through), and drill into tiles where necessary. We take this precaution because drilling into grout can cause issues with moisture later on; therefore, we should remove all of the existing grout before laying your new bathroom tiles or porcelain slabs to avoid future complications.
The waterworks
Then comes time for plumbing work, which includes roughing-in waste pipes for sinks, baths, showers, and WC’s, unless no changes are needed here whatsoever, of course.
Defining the atmosphere
Lighting is critical in making your room look bigger and brighter than it once was, so we can advise you on this if necessary.
Finishing touches
Last but not least, our Faith Bathrooms Essex will carefully install sanitary ware products (e.g., sinks, basins, etc.) as well as tile/porcelain slabs for flooring purposes, before finally testing everything out one final time to ensure that everything is working properly at long last!

How long will it take to complete my bathroom remodel from start to finish?
Depending on how much work is required, of course! However, typically speaking, Faith Bathrooms Essex can complete an average-sized bathroom within about four weeks or thereabouts.
If you would like a more specific time frame, then we suggest getting in touch with our Omega Bathrooms team for further details at your earliest convenience. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
I’ve made a plan for my bathroom remodel. How do I begin to put it into action?
Once Omega Bathrooms has helped you to gain an insight into the costs involved, we will be able to help with detailed plans for your bathroom remodel. We can do this by taking measurements of your current layout and discussing which aspects require the most attention so that improvements can be made accordingly.
Do I need to have design ideas before contacting you?
Not necessarily! Our Faith Bathrooms Essex team are more than happy to answer any questions you might have about our full range of products, but if necessary, they are also fully equipped to draw up some initial proposals based on whatever particular style or theme is important to you as well.
How much lighting will be required in my bathroom?
The amount of light you’ll need depends on the size of your bathroom and how much natural lighting it already receives. Faith Bathrooms Essex can help by installing a dimmable switch for after-dark bathing or some tiles that are more reflective if this is what you prefer.
What should I do to prepare my home for a bathroom remodel?
The first step to preparing your home for our team will be making sure all items in there have been removed from the flooring surface so they don’t get damaged during installation. We also recommend obtaining any necessary building permits before we arrive at your property as well.
What’s the difference between a bathroom renovation and a remodel?
The difference between a renovation and remodel is that the former will involve changing out some of your bathroom fixtures while the latter will see an entire overhaul in its entirety.
What is involved in a full bathroom remodel, and what about a partial one?
A complete bathroom refurbishment includes replacement of all things within the room, including tiles, flooring, shower area, toilet area, etc. A partial update can be done by just updating certain areas, such as replacing the bathtub or sink faucets with modern designs to give them a more contemporary look and feel.
